I have to pick up a couple of new receivers, and was wondering how the Futaba 7 channel 127DF compares to the Hitec Superslim 8 channel receiver?
Need your input.

Greg, I have 3 Futaba 127DF receivers and have had excellent service from them -- up to 4 years on the oldest, 3 on the other two.
I also have one Hitec Superslim and have had excellent service from it ( one year now). I like the Superslim end servo plug ins.
I think it boils down to which is the least expensive as both are very good products.

Check out the FMA Direct Site and the receivers they offer. I have a 127 Futaba (Great for CG adjustments since it's nice and heavy and so big you'll never lose it.) and one of the Magnum 8's which is small enough for an indoor flyer but with performance equal to or better than any of the FM receivers on the market. Fred Marks does it right. .5 oz and it's about the size of 2 postage stamps. Also, it's auto shift so it can be used with any FM transmitter brand without changing a thing.

The Hitec SUPREME was never mentioned ? It is claimed to have superior selectivity, and noise rejection then their smaller versions. It's Hitecs top end receiver.

I also considered the Hitec Supreme. It is about the same size as the 127DF, and I have heard nothing but good reports on it. I was leaning toward the Superslim because of the size. I have 2 of the 148DF receivers, and they are good in tighter places and when you need the extra channel for mixing, but are about $100.00. The Superslim came to mind when I started to look for a receiver to put in my Fazer. The Superslim seemed to fit the bill at about $30.00 less than the Futaba 148DF. From the input that I have gotten, I don't think you could go wrong buying any of the receivers mentioned.
I'll have to take a look at the FMA site to see what they have. I guess I didn't even consider them yet.
