At least it wasn't 95 degrees, 95% humidity. I was sweating so hard I couldn't see my plane a couple of times for the water in my eyes!. I'll fly in the rain, as long as it's not hard enough to get into my plane, and the clouds sometimes are good for contrast.

Anyway, only have one bipe, only had it for a couple of weeks, lovin' it, though. 58 inch top wing, .80 Saito power. Pics below, guess which one is mine.

I love biplanes and have a few.

The Ziroli's Stearman was originally powered by a Saito 5-cylinder, later moved to a Zenoah G-38.
The Godfrey's Ultimate has a Zenoah G-42 for power.
The Great Plane Pitts is equipped with a Zenoah G-45

This one was built in early 90's. It is a Byron Staggerwing, with a Zenoah G-38 for power.
A little on the heavy side, as all Byron designs, had a realistic retractable landing gear.
I won several regional and national FAI F4C championships with this plane, while still living in Brazil.

Personally, Bull, I think you were scaring her with the aerobatics and she jumped. Hate that she took out the tail. Bet that hurt. My pilot's a bit "softer"

Here's mine: First a 1/4 scale Bristol Scout, originally powered with a pair of Webra geared 61's (1975); then a 1.4 Roper industrial engine (1976); and then a Quadra 35 (1977). The airplane still flies today with that tired old Quadra.

Next is my 1/3 scale Bristol Scout powered by a Zenoah G-62.

Last is my "Kestrel", powered by a Zenoah G-23.

All three airplanes are my own design.

Homepylon,

Regarding the Mong. How does it fly? What engine is in it? Was it a difficult build?

I have been desiring one.
