Congratulations, see what that "Hot dress" can do? Now you will need a 1/4 scale to put the baby in.

I almost said that myself... great minds think alike!

There goes the flying budget.

Crap. I hadn't thought of that yet. Oh well, I'm still really happy!

Buy kits now and put on the shelf to build later when the budget gets thinner.

Get some kits, before you get crys!! You're going to need them.

Congratulations on about to be a father. Those red dresses really can do some work!!

I experienced the thrill myself. Went back to post #637 and I experienced the magnitude of the flying furniture! What a ride. I'm going to fly my entertainment center. I just can't get that T.V. in the right place to make it balance right!! I'll have to keep flipping the channels until I get it juuuuuust right!!

Anyways, we're still looking foward to the bab....I mean build...or I should say rebuild of your plane kiswa. Boy or girl......oh wait, it's too soon to know I'm sure.

HAHA. I'm watching in my science class a video of making babys and all about that stuff

Good luck with the plane rebuild and the baby. Congrats again

~Michael~

Congratulations kiswa!

But bruce has it all wrong - That little guy/gal is going to reeeeeeeeeeallllly need a lot of visual stimulation/motivation as early s possible in life. I suggest a copy of G3 or AFPD to record flight videos and a giant scale aerobat to hang in the nursery over the crib! And of course you'll have to keep it in regular use - fuel fumes would do wonders to mask the odor from the diaper pail!

(But then, has anyone ever made a flying crib??? )

I'm thinking, screw the flying furniture.....a flying crib would be awesome. You know how they say, you could put a baby in there it's so big, well just put them in the crib, a DA-150 and off you go. Oh yeah, you'd have to get some control surfaces on there somehow!!

It's just a thought though. Flying cribs!! Gheese!!

Good luck with everything

~Michael~

Okay guys... get it together!

I'll post repair progress just as soon as I get started repairing the SSE. Which may be a little while, because I found out this morning that...

I'm Going To Be A Daddy!

Great!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!! Just remember, it's safe to put a transmitter in the crib right next to the baby. You can never start them too young!!!!! And if you have a little girl, there is nothing wrong with flying a pink airplane!!!!

Congrats Kiswa!!!

Simulator is a great idea - my little one (2 years old! )has been flying on the sim for about a year and a little bit now... really got the hang of it, I'm just a little nervous about putting him on the real thing yet though. Still waiting for his attention span to increase a little more.

My wife has to buy TWO airplanes to put under the christmas tree now.

If you fly a big Gee-Bee, it can also double as a diaper pail..... they kinda look like one anyway.

Kiswa - need to get a picture of your wife in that dress while it still fits even if you won't share it with us.

BTW - the crib should be a twin for safety.

Definitely - The possibility exists that you won't *ever* see her in it again. Lot's of things change with kids (most of them very good, though )

On a totally unrelated note, the right side is starting to look more like the left...

Oh yeah, thinks like sleep, time alone with your spouse, sanity..... they all disappear when you have kids!!!! I like to tell all new parents that there are 2 dates about your kids that you will remember forever. The first is the day your child was born, and the second is the first night that you get to sleep all night without getting up to see why the baby is crying!!!!!

Don't get my wrong, my 2 boys are about the most important thing in the world to me!!!

Ken

RCKen has it right. Everything will change and unless you have gone through it, it can't really be explained. The wonderful thing though is that you will grow and learn as much as your kid without realizing it.

Buckle up, it's going to be a *bumpy* ride

BTW, this has been quite a fascinating thread. From starting the SE, getting fired, moving on to a better career, flying furniture and now the anticipation of becoming a daddy.

Krossk, the covering looks awesome. Is a new digital camera with better resolution on your x-mas list?
