I like your wheels, front bumper, side skirts are ok, rear bumper needs to leave, same with the tail light lenses. Get a bigger exhaust but please dont get a huge ass 6" fartcan. And please don't get a huge wing either. Other than that. I will the looks. I know i'm an a$$hole.

I'm rather unbiast since I've daily driven MANY imports and domestics. Everything from a little Civic, to a Lincoln Town car.

Ford mustangs aren't horrible cars, they do what they were designed to do very well, get driven fast. You might also say a geo metro is a horrible car, but they are great cars, they accomplish theire life goals very well, to get great gas mileage. It's one big sacrafice, gas mileage - horsepower, handling - smooth ride, loud - slow, you can't have them all.

Arguing over which car is better makes as much sense as arguing over what color is the best, it's purely driver preference.

and the skyline is nothing special over here in the states, aside from the kids that have seen TFATF one too many times. no quicker in the quarter or the curves than a 96-98 Mustang Cobra, and a whole helluvalot uglier

What are you talking about, Skylines are probably the rarest nissan in America other than an S15 Silvia. I've only seen 2 in my whole life. If you say that they aren't rare then were do you work, Motorex? Honestly Mustangs are horrible cars. At 400hp they still aren't fast. Any mustang has horrible handling, they are horrible at Auto-X and road race cars. I think I'll stick with my Supra.

rofl@a retard with a Supra talking about Mustangs being slow.
and I said it wasn't special, i didn't say it wasn't rare. it's plenty rare...still crap. and if you think Mustangs are horrible cars, you're an effing idiot, and your Supra still sucks overweight, overweight, overweight...
what do a 900 whp Supra and a 400 hp supra have in common?
they both run 13s

what, are you mad that a stock 03 Cobra blew your doors off? you haven't seen the PLETHORA of 12 second 03-4 Stangs at your local track, or are you too embarrassed to show up at your local track because of your copius amounts of power at the wheels and the inability to put it to the ground?

get a life, goon, all I said was that they were NOT special, which they aren't. Skylines are gay, and so are you
*EDIT*

btw, if Mustangs are such terrible handlers, why are they the winningest cars in production-based roadracing? HMMM? oh wait, no they're not...the Corvette is, the Mustang is simply second

*EDIT again*

I've also seen WAY more than two Skylines...there were 6 bombin around when I lived in Cincinnati..about that many in Grand Rapids MI, and two down here so far.

I dont' think those were Skylines, they are incredible rare since you have to import them through Motor-Rex to have on in the U.S. Skylines are definetly not crappy cars, they'll blow the doors of of 99% of cars on the road stock. Take one to a twisty mountain road, and your pretty much untouchable.

Supra's overweight at 3,568? That's less than 100lbs different from the new Mustang.

I just love pullin up beside civics like you who are just revvin up ur little 4 cylinder thinkin that it sounds good and has power. Then I rev up my 350 V8 and they all shut up. You guys really need to learn what a real vehicle is, and your 4 cylinders sound like CRAP!!!!!!!! Oh, and why a 4 door??????? Not only is your car already ugly, that just makes it worse.

That is just silly. I have an 04 STI, 300HP stock and just a tweak over 500 after the upgrades (turbo, injectors, fuel rails, computer etc. etc. (real money)) and that 4cyl will turn your laughter into tears as you see the tailights get smaller in the distance. There is a replacement for displacement, it is called forced induction. My 99 Diablo VT feels like a miata compared to that STI until you hit about 150 then it still feels like a miata in 2nd right up to redline.... I have had a Lancer Evo hang with me coming up an on ramp as well.

The old 4cyl is inferior is just silly. Now what is even worse is the kids with the 1.8Ltr Civics that have an intake and a fart cannon claiming 400Hp. The world has evolved beyond a simple cylinder count. The STI, EVO and SkylineGTR are non V8s that decimate most V8s. When I hear a 600Lb engine reving and only producing 61Hp per Ltr I am not impresed compared to a 250Lb engine producing 200Hp per Ltr. You cannot make a reasonable argument that the V8 is superior. Now I understand choosing something less superior for a sense of style and sound. I own a Heritage Springer with a nice 1300cc V twin that sounds like the aftershock of an earthquake compared to the whirr and hiss of a GSXRR 1100. But that GSXRR will outperform my Harley in EVERY catagory and I will have to rebuild 2 times before he needs a plug change. I chose the HD anyway because I love that chrome monster. Now, I love a 68 Camaro as much as anyone, and watching one pull the front end a foot in the air and shake the gravel off the track is a thing of beauty. But to argue that it can hold it's own against an off the shelf WRX in ANYTHING but a straightline run on dry pavement is idiocy.

Really not a fan of civics, however, I saw a few turbo'd ones at the track run low 12's. But they were completely gutted! Why put that much time and money into something you cant even drive and is still pretty darn slow in comparison. Now when you start talking DSM's, thats where it changes. Those cars can be amazingly quick for cheap. And about the v8's that cant handle? The Corvette can hold its own on the track Also, on this drifting thing, I believe the GTO, Viper, and Mustang have won the top 3? Correct me if Im wrong, but arent v8's beating the rice rockets at their own game?

And about the civic's having 160hp......wow. Amazing. My granny car (cadillac catera) has 200 and I wouldn't be caught dead trying to call it a sports car or putting a body kit on it!

And to the WRX guy, I like awd turbo cars, but the awd has horrible understeer! Have you tried auto-x? We have a track here in Grattan, MI and my buddy went with his 95 eclipse gsx. He was up against some wrx guys. I love autox!

I have to agree with you 100%, honsetly i think that civic is just ugly as crap, also SLOW AS CRAP, i drove one and hated it to death, the 06' SI's look decent tho, might be kinda quick for out of the box

you mean a turbo'd 2.0L 4 cylinder has no disadvantage when compared to a twin turbo'd 500 Cadillac?

haha thats so true. My neighbor runs a hi-po shop, mostly for boats. I think theres about 20-30 boats in the 100MPH+ club on lake michigan, and he has built about 5 of them. Now most guys run 2 motors on theirs, but hes a little crazy. On his 28foot cruiser he has a 540inch with twin turbos. On the dyno he made 1300hp on 12lbs of boost. He has ran it at 32lbs a few times before, and his fastest on the gps was 112mph. So yeah, forced induction+big cubes=big power.
