Hello folks

I recently purchased a 60-90 sized Tucano T-27 military trainer from Juniear Models in Brazil and am looking for some help with it. The instructions enclosed are in Portuguese and I cant read it

I have done some searching with very limited results since this airplane is not readily available here in the US.

I am looking for retracts for this bird and a suitable powerplant. For retracts I have figured out in the instructions that I could use these:

Trem retrátil Robart (pneumático ROBQ 605HD e ROBQ 607 ou mecânico ROBQ 608HD e ROBQ 610

Does anyone know the difference in the models they suggest and also are they available still? I am looking for an all in 1 inclusive setup with decent looking struts to dress it up.

As far as powerplant I have thought about a Saito 100 but if that isnt enough power I might go with a YS 1.20 I have laying around. Anyone think a 2 stroke glow like a OS 1.08 or a .91 might fit the bill?

just wanted to share this beautiful model with you and get your feedback. If anyone wants to see the manul its online at: Tucano Manual

thanks

matt

Hey Diablekid,

Are you still building this plane? I just got one myself... And I am Brazilian so I can help out with translations. I have questions myself but I can contact Junier team...

Take care.

Just going to revive this thread to see if there is anymore interest in this plane.

I recently got one of these used off of EBAY, so we'll see how it actually is, when it get here sometime next week!

I Orginally was going to buy one and have it imported, but it was pretty $$$$

Here's what I got! I would be interested in hearing what your setup is, if you have this airplane.
