Taken at the 2005 AMA NATS, Dennis Crooks P-38 on a fly-by.

No editing whatsoever, except to make photo smaller so it fits here.

No sharpening, no other Photoshop stuff.

Good cameras take good pictures.

Did you use in camera sharpening? You'll always need to sharpen with digital pictures, either in camera or after the fact. I use Photokit Pixel Genius sharpening software, the be so far. But smart sharpen in CS2 looks promising too.

No in-camera sharpening at all.

IC. Any reason you wouldn't want to sharpen it? By nature of the sensor and AA filter, all strait files will be a little soft. Try not using any sharpening with a 1Ds MII or a D2X, gets even worse.

pity file size limits the quality
