Status: offline 		After a long hiatus from modelling (>5 yrs), I'm finally flying again. I've rebuilt my Goldberg Ultimate Biplane which originally had a Super Tigre 90 2c engine using the nylon beam mount supplied with the kit and rubber isolation dampers in the firewall (I don't remember the brand). The new version is going to use a YS 1.20 SF which is 5 yrs old but new in the box. Things have changed a bit in 5 yrs. Which engine mount would you recommend for the YS? I'm leaning to soft mounting but am not sure which would work best for this engine. Should it be aluminum or is glass filled nylon (ie- the same type of beam mount as before) OK? The engine will likely be side mounted with the exhaust pointing down. Also which muffler would work well for this application?
