Does anyone have any pricing and availability info on this plane? Also, will it be available in an ARF?

In a recent conversation with them, I was told that it is scheduled for the Spring of this year. 88" wingspan and will be like their other Warbird ( P-47, Zero, etc.) kits. Which translated means it will fly great!

Anyone checked with Yellow A/C via phone to check on release date and $ of the P40 ? Looks like a great effort on Yellow's part.

Yellow has had this P-40 in the works for quite a while now. I was anxiously awaiting it, as I know it would as everyone knows be an easy building airplane, with user friendly flying characteristics. I would guess it be priced in the same neighborhood as the rest, unless it comes out in Epoxy, which I doubt that it will. Yellow has quite a few new aircraft scheduled for release this year, if they work the P-40 into that release heap or not remains to be seen, me I am not holding out hope of seeing this plane before the 2002 calender year is up. Just too many soups on the stove right now.

(of course the above is meant as playful bait just to be proven wrong)

I have talked with Yellow Aircraft about pricing on the P-40 and the major price difference from the rest of there warbirds will be in the gear, they are manufacturing the rotating scale gear and consequently will be a bit more expensive.

Which model P-40 is it? I'm hoping someone will come out with a B/C but it's probably an E.

Seen the P-40 at Toledo (along with Klinger), and it is the E version too. I will have one of these, but not for awhile... I want to see how it will fly first. Wing is designed by Chuck from Yellow. Should go well... Alleymutt out

It aint glass and foam but Jerry Bates does a nice set of plans for the P-40B/C at about 85 inches. I just framed up an E model from his plans for a customer and was pleased with the fit and finish. I'd like the early one myself actually. Regards, Chad.

I also have Jerry Bates B/C plans and fglass parts (and a ST3000 for it). Haven't gotten around to building it yet, though I've accumulated a lot of documentation for it. Just think I'd be more inspired about building a kit. Have the Century Jet retracts, too!
