Hey Guys, Last night I saw these two new Digital EOS Cameras canon has out, I thought you might be interested.

First off the 5D is all new. Without a pop-up flash it takes on some characteristics of the 1D Series. The Body is similar to that of the EOS 1v Film SLR. I have a feeling this is a professional camera on a budget. Price should be just over $3200

The 1D Mark II N is similar to the 1D Mark II with the exeption of a larger LCD and dual car writing and some other things, it still has the unbeleivably fast 8.5 FPS for 60 Frames! *drooools*. Price should be around $4000

During the school shooting season here in Winnipeg, MB CANADA, "JOSTENS" just aquired about 6 to 8, (not sure), of the EOS 20D cameras along with a fairly pricey strobe for each. They are 100% compatible with external studio lights by means of the hot shoe connection.

I made a copy of a composite that had to be reproduced because the original got water damage. It will save in a variety of formats but as the "normal" jpg, an image came out of the camera at a huge 48" x 36" @ 72dpi. About 25.5 MB (approx numbers)

This camera too, is an 8.3 MP unit. Suggested list in Canada is about $2300.

Not a bad little unit

Nice. Full frame 35MM sensor. Prices keep coming down. Another 2 years maybe and we'll see full frame 12 MP or so around a grand or two...gotta love Moores law

You know what even really kool about these things, is that I can set them up to use under "studio" conditions as well. I.e. Main, fill, backlite, & hair.
