Your life is more important than toy cars. I thought about you when I heard on the news just now that it has become a cat 5 storm. Godspeed little friend, let us know you are ok soon.

For once, Speed called RCs "toy cars"

Lets hope that you'll come out alive. Possesions can be replaced, but a life cannot.

I wondered if you were leaving, glad to hear it, stay safe!

May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be at your back, may the rain fall gently upon your fields, and untill we meet again, my god hold you in the palm of his hand...

An old Irish blessing for ya'

Good to hear youll be safe.

I wouldnt worry too much about the RC's, the water wont hurt them, just take the electronics out of them and take them along with you (parents should have anything to say about that as the electronics will fit in your pocket). As long as nothing terrible happens the cars should be fine.

Hey man, if you don't live in Texas you can't complain about the heat. And anything below 85 is pretty brutally cold!

Sorry you couldn't take you cars with you - just one of those facts of life, it sucks now but there are way more important things. Hopefully everything will come out okay for everyone who is affected by Katrina.

Enjoy your stay in Texas!
