Yes, check the valve lash just in case but that is a normal sound when flipping, but not when running.

Thanks, fellas. I also have an apc 14X4 and apc 14X6 coming now as well. I will run a gallon through it and maybe post some of the vess numbers. I am curious about these props as they receive such glowing reviews from the petrol guys, so I gues we'll see.

Jeff, maybe we need to clarify, are you asking about Performance Specialties mufflers or RC Specialties TurboHeader, if the TurboHeader I can vouch for it enhancing performance on all Saitos except the 1.25 and for it staying in place. The 1.25 has two peculiarities, the TurboHeader does not give it a boost in RPM and a velocity stack knocks off 200 rpm.

Just Curious,

Why does the turboheader not work in the 1.25 and why does the velocity stack knock off 200 rpm?

The velocity stack normally used on the Saitos like the 82 is most likely too small for the 125

Saito Golden Knight 100 110 & 125 engines do not come from the factory with a velocity stack

Slopoke,

Compared to the other Saito's, the 1.25 muffler is quite large allowing for better exhaust flow. There are other factors involved but I can't get into that. Let's just say it is better tuned from the factory.
