I promised that I'd add a more thorough list of the winners in each class so here it is. Just follow the following link to the USRA website for the top finishers and their raw and official times (cut penalties assessed) from the trophy races.

http://www.usrainfo.org/2005_ohio_trophy_results.htm

The results of each heat race are here:

http://www.usrainfo.org/2005_ohio_heat_results.htm

And, finally, the season point standings in each class are found by going to the usra home page, scrolling to the top of the right "pane", and clicking on "2005 Series Standings". The home page is here:

There's an excellent article about the first race of this season at Rantoul, IL in the latest issue of "FLY RC" magazine. Tom Atwood really focuses on the way the race is run. He also prepared a didgital version of this article complete with a photo essay of pics that are not printed in the magazine. You can check it out at:

Cole,

Now it looks like I'm going to be the one missing the race. "Potential Flow Racing" will most likely not be able to make it to Parker.

Think about us while you're tearing up the course and look for us to come back with a vengence in 2006! We're already adding team members and designing new airframes.

Send my best to everyone out there!

Robert,
I understand your new airplane is going to be the same as the new Q40 I'm working on with three other people. I got the three views from the same person that sent them to you. Should be a good one. I just wish we could use the scale aspect ratio for the wing, unfortunately, we're limited to 56" span

Garys,

Yeah, that airplane WILL get the job done.....and I'll be able to use the full scale aspect ratio. Let's compare notes sometime!
