something i have always done when dealing with toy grade stuff, when a part breaks i remove it and take it to my local hobby shop and see if they have anything similar. the guy at my shop is cool and will let me go behind the counter and look through parts that he has to find something the same or similar. theres always hardware stores too. i find random stuff at hardware stores from time to time that works. give it a try you might find a replacement

I have 2 of these 1.6 and some spare parts from a 3rd ,I have the Scorpion and Jeep bodies. I`ve enjoyed them for 5 years .I`ve had problems with gears in the front ,and I made it travel faster and stronger across grass by replacing the drive belts with tight fitting O rings from the hardware store. Both of mine have the plastic cracked but they still work fine .

I just got my 1:6 scale a couple weeks ago, and I love it so far. I traded an item equal to the value of $14 for it, came with an extra set of tires. The kid I got it from took off the ugly roll bars and painted it black, but did a terrible job as you can still see the sanding marks.  He filled the tires with lead BBs, trimmed the body for more flex clearance (I get a little more than 8 inches out of it) So far I have been climbing all sorts of things and its very capable!

What I dont like is that its belt drive. Yes it provides slippage to avoid broken parts but the rear belt slips way to easily, and hurts it when I try to crawl. It also doesnt like to turn the wheels to the left. But I think thats from the kid I got it from. Hes been inside it, and added quick release crimp on plugs to everything. For some reason he cut the metal inner shock sliders, so they pop out if it flexes too much. He added limiting straps, but they keep the front end too low. And the tire tread plugs too easily, so I am going to go and cut some blocks off my spare set.

I walked to and from this kids house to get it, and its about an hour and a half walk one way. The battery lasted the whole way then I got another 45 minutes out of it the next day. Ill have to get some pics up.

For the rear slipping . Open it up and take the drive belt to the hardware store .get an " O " ring that is smaller in length .get a couple of different sizes ,try them to see what works for not slipping . They should be real snug , the smaller ones are harder to get back on .

Heres my truck, the body has been trimmed, tires cut and reversed.

It likes to crawl, with limiting straps I get about 8 inches of articulation with 3 wheels still on the ground

Some videos, I used some double sided foam tape to stick my camera on the hood. Unfortunately the battery was starting to die and it was lurching.
