Take it back to Walmart and they will exhange it straight up. No questions asked. You must have the receipt though.

You can tear everything apart and attempt to fix it but if you can't, Wal-Mart may not take it back since tearing it apart probably voids the warranty. Go to www.RCCrawler.com and check out the forum there for the 1/6th scale Nylint's. They have a lot of mod and repair suggestions.

My guess is no and that's why I don't mod mine. If I were to cut it all up, paint it and so forth, I would just buy another one.

It doesn't hurt to try. Worst comes to worst, buy a new or slightly used stock body off of someone on the forum and put it on and return it. That might work. Just don't go to the same person at Wal-Mart when you try to return it the second time.

You DO NOT need your sales ticket to take your rock crawler back to walmart. Just package it back up and say you recieved it as a gift and they will issue you a gift card for the price they are at the time of return. The problem may come in that walmart has lowered the price to $119 for the 1:6 jeep. However, if your just wanting to get a new one its no big deal. Just get your gift card pick up another one and your out no money....remember a reciept is required only if you want cash back or the refund to your CC otherwise they just give you a Gift Card.....

Oh I just caught that you painted yours. I still think walmart will take it back they have a pretty lax return policy and are quiet helpful in my experience. However, lets just say the walmart says NO to you. Well just buy another switch tops and take it back....its not the most honest but its not like you have had it that long as is why i think walmart will exchange it...good luck.....
