I received my new 1/6 Jeep Nylint crawler a few days ago. So far it is great! I have a 1/18 that has given me problems, so I hoping this one is better. But I know that it is just a 'toy'!
It sure is big and heavy. I'm new at this game, so maybe one day I'll go for a 'real' RC crawer?
Does anyone know if Funrise is still making these crawlers?

I'm guessing walmart doesnt sell these anymore... Where can I get one other than ebay (since they are ripping people off)? I hope nylint starts making these again, they look really fun for cheap!

I think the general idea is to adapt another front axle to the rear. I don't believe there are replacement parts available for a Nylint, so you may have to find a parts cow.

Their web site still shows them available for $199.

Went to Walmart today and found two 1/18 scale Nylints for 25 bucks apiece. May keep one and sell the other to pay for the first since they are going for so much on ebay. Too bad they didn't have any 1/6 ones.

So far I love my 1/6 Jeep crawler.
I just painted it, hope I can post a picture. I used Krylon Fusion plastic paint.

Nice paint job - very even and good coverage.

After removing 100 screws, painting wasn't so bad! At least the body can be taken apart and was not glued together! A plus to Nylint/Funrise!

it'll switch gears from high to low, and drive fine as long as there is no pressure on it, but if its in low gear and i try to crawl around on some rock or run through mud it makes a popin noise and the rear wheels just stop turning. . .
