I have had one of these for about A year, year and A half. I've never broke anything on it but 1 shock. And only then from walking my dogs with the leash around it.( yeah stupid move) I use it to take out the trash bash rocks mudd play you name it and as i'm sure you all know i just cant let it get wet as the belts inside will begin to slip. But i'm surprised to see no one in this whole long tread has done what I did. First run it without the top.Looks bad but who cares its cool anyway, Next turn tires around I have these on my 98 explorer and noticed A huge difference after putting them on backwards. Next put drywall screws into every other tread and cut off the head leaving about 3/8" exposed. This will bite into rocks and carve ravines in dirt!!!! Thats all i've done to mine and when they have there comp's around here I make everybody look bad with there 200-1700 rigs!!!! Thats why everybody hates these things there so easy and cheap! They wan't you to buy A wheelie king or some other crap to "really" crawl. Well bring it big boys I'll put money on that says i'll follow you every where you go!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then leave you stuck!

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one of these rock crawlers. I bought one about a year ago from walmart and this year right before Christmas our home got broken into. Needless to say they took my son's rock crawler. I searched every walmart within 100 miles of me. No one had one. I am desperate. He was crushed. So now I am trying to find one for his birthday. It is next month, so I figured if I could find one and had to have it shipped it should be here in enough time. Thank you in advance.

They have been discontinued. Your best bet finding one is used on E-Bay.

Ya. Used on ebay is really your best bet. Or spend the extra and get a wheelie king...

where can i buy individual nylint parts?

i broke that little clearish plastic gear type thing in the rear axle and i've tried fixing it but it just keeps breaking. does anyone know where i can buy a new one without having to buy an entire new axle?

You used to be able to return them to Wal-Mart or call the manufacturer directly because it had a life time warranty, but now they are discontinued so who knows. You could try calling the manufacturer for parts. They were known to send people entire front axles at no cost by request.
