Perhaps, but I'm not giving the guy who provided the 3 views a free plane in case we make some in all white. That's a little too obvious.

Yep, That is just to darn funny

Tom,
Today is the deadline for submitions.
After you call a cease fire can we post what we submitted here or would you rather keep them private until you anounce the winner?

Thought it would make for some interesting discussion while you are deciding.

I have no objection, but please limit it to a single thread if (or one each Yak and Cap) so the index doesn't get too cluttered.

that would be awesome if the guys who submitted designs also posted them to the forum. I'm in the process of building a Carden Cuda, and looking for trim scheme ideas. I've got a few ideas of my own, but there are so many others much more creative than I am!

Geeze Tom, I thought that "SnowStorm" scheme looked great, that's why I entered it. (kidding, kidding...) My scheme has been e-mailed in. Good luck everyone!

It could also be called a picture of a cow eating grass.

The cow ate all the grass.

So she left.

The design contest is now closed.

I received well over a hundred entries, I'm astonished at some of the talent out there.

It's going to take me several days to go through these and pick the ones I like. Stay tuned.

BTW due to the large volume I cannot acknowledge every one of the entries, but I want to thank everyone who sent one in, this has been a very interesting experience and I really appreciate the efforts.

Hey Tom I have an Idea that could make you money. Design an ARF that is just like the Stinger .10 nobody makes an arf that will perform like the stinger .10 with a .25 or .32 and a pipe. Fastest and most out of control plane I have seen in 35 years. I know I would buy 2 or 3 of them. I also know alot of people looking for them online but nobody has one forsale not even a built kit. You could sell hundreds of them. Just a thaught.

Out of control is the best way to describe it thats for sure. I had one with a .36 pro, I thought I liked it but that was like a billion years ago. I think airplanes have evolved since the dark ages. The stinger IMO has been beat to death. (and yes I have owned every size from the .10 to the monster stinger)

Actually I had the cow idea a long time ago, but with regular irregular spots, not bunnies. It's cute!

Some years ago there was a drag racing nitro funny car sponsored by the California Milk advisory board. As you might guess it was all painted up like a cow.

For fun one day they mounted an extra parachute bag on the back and filled it with cow manure.

As they approached the starting line, engines blasting and everyone's attention focused on the two cars, the driver pulled the chute release causing it to appear that the cow car took a dump.

NHRA did not see the humor, I laughed my ass off.

Well, in the case of the Yak, just use brown smoke.
