my neigbor has 3 pit bulls, and they are as friendly as kittens, they get such a bad reputation.

infact, yours looks exactly like "ren" my neighbor's dog.

Not all pits are dangerous, but they all have the potential to be dangerous, its there breed, All owners of pits should be aware of the liability they own. My neighbor kept saying his dog wouldn't hurt a fly, I come home and my grandmother has been bit in the face about 5 times, and this guy convienced her not to call an ambulance or anything. Needless to say when I got home and saw my grandmother, I had to stomp some ass, then I called the police.

whaaaaat??? not call the ambulance? that's kind of humorous...

by the way, how much crap did you get into 'stomping some ass' after you called the police?

When the police show and see my grandmothers face, they were more interested in arresting my neighbor and getting her medical attention, They were going to take his dog, but he moved the next day. Never heard or seen him since, My grandmother needed over 20 stiches in her face.

Whats funny about somebody taking advantage of a 70 year old lady?

This was several years ago, my grandmother has passed since.

not saying i would own one due to that thing in the back of their mind. (same with German shepherds) some things make animals snap.(even cute little old ladies

pets are wild animals, they may be tame and your loyal pet, but they are animals with no conscience. remember that guver, next time you take pictures of your dog's ass.....

Ya, well the dog has no modesty or shame.

Number one priority and job is to chase and run against rc trucks. I can tell in watching that it's all about the "race"

If he can win then all is good , if I get one that is faster than dog then you hear all kinds of yelps, and cry whineing. Cornering isn't His strong point.

I used to encourage him to chase my 15 buck toy shop rc's. We played with them for years, ofcourse they'd all end up destroyed. I ended up encouraging him too much, now iv lost control of him when it comes to chasing rc's, oops

As for the topic of pitbulls. Pitbulls can sometimes have problems due to these reasons.

They are no different to any other medium - large dominant breed. It takes a responsible and capable owner to keep them, then theres no problem. Kinda like you wouldnt give a Jato to a 5 year old. They are the gladiators of the dog world.

Due to breed specific legislations. In many countries (I dont know about America) the dog breed no longer bieng recognised by the k9 governing body, so they are often badly backyard bred by joe amature and can have poor tempermants.

Theres lots of tough guys who think that having a pitty and making it vicous means your a big hero, so they ruin perfectly good dogs.
