to whom ever was interested, here's a .pdf of the parts for my glider. since i just free handed the fuselage, there's no plans for that, but all i used was a block of balsa and started carving with an xacto. the total leangth should be around 13-14 inches from tip to tail. the tail boom is 3mm OD CF rod. these are the 2nd version of the plans, with a new wing rib shape for a differant airfoil. there's no instructions, so nothings concrete, change whatever you want along the way...just start sticking wood together, it'll look like a plane eventually
i'm heading to washington on the 1st for a couple weeks, hopefully i can build the new wing before i leave. i already have the electronics coming in the mail (parkzone cessna gear), and i'll be ordering some durobatics foam for the outer skin. when i get back i'll get it all together and get it in the air, i'll start a new thread for it.

yep, durobatics foam. its a specialty foam for us micro builders, a very good alternative for balsa. comes in .050" and .025" thicknesses, pleanty light and reasonably strong. not exactly cheap, but it works great: http://www.durobatics.com/ http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?categoryID=58 a good thread with lots of durobatics made planes. a search for durobatics in the micro/indoor forum at RCG will give a handfull more results http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=666072 all these are durobatics too from a member on RCG: http://picasaweb.google.com/robogeo and below is a pic of how it stacks up against other materials (thanks to Gordon Johnson for the chart/info)

edit: added some pics of the work i got done on the new wing today with the new plans. turned out well enough i think.

Thought I'd post a couple of pics of a flying wing that I made. The electronics were pirated from an AA AcroJet. The wing is made from 1/8" cellfoam 88. This plane is simply amazing. Flys around at only 1/4 throttle and is very, very manueverable. At 1/3 throttle it is twice as fast as a Standard Aero Ace bipe with the lower wings removed. I love flying it in ground effect just inches off the ground and taking it up high then full turn as it spirals (almost a flat spin) fast towards the ground. It is the best mod I have ever done to these little planes and gear.
Sorry if it's hard to see the pics. I'll try and get some close up shots soon.

It's based off the Z surfer wing. I'll see if I can find the link. The only plan is in word format right now. I'll see if I can switch over to a different format.

I saw the AA Bipes at Target when I bought my Rolling Fury a few months ago. I also thought you guys might be interested in this RC Pterodactyl at TRU. I bet the birds would love it.

Wow a peter ducktail in 2 channel that flies! And given that the stay at home mom couldn't get the wing to glue on, but made no mention of melting foam, it sounds like it might be made of epp.
