Cobbler Use 1/2" fibre reinforced tape on those chuck gliders. Fold a strip lengthwise over the leading edge of the wing. Another top and bottom, under tension along the "spar". (The wing will warp up when you do the top, then the tension of the bottom tape will straighten it) You can also run 4 strips along the sides, top and bottom of the fuse. This will greatly strengthen the whole plane. To make control easier, trim the Hor stab straight across the back and tape hinge a balsa elevator. Do the same to the rudder. If you are ambitious, you can trim the wing roots to remove the sweep. It makes a very stable airplane like this. Cheers I mounted SL guts on one of those big styrofoam gliders that you buy at the toy store for like $7. It was great, but every time I pulled up, the wings looked like they were going to snap.
