Have you considered a career in buggy design? No? Me neither. 'Cos bottom line, we only know the very basics. There's no point guessing too much why they do this, why they do that. But to take your example, I would say no, because the screw in this situation is more of a pin and it's surrounded by another part (the ball joint) which is also metal. Small hard metal parts don't break, and it's metal so it's a smooth surface for the ball cup, so they can't make that out of plastic. This part heavily shields the screw anyway. Plus have you ever had a screw break? Ever tried getting a screw out of something when there's no head on it? It's not easy. I more often buy a new part when this happens 'cos I don't wanna mess around drilling bits of scerws out of bulkheads etc...That's why screw are one of the parts they continually try to make stronger and stronger.... Any more bright ideas, send them to Duratrax, they really need them....

yes, it seems that duratrax really needs to figure out how to have their cars not break in half after hitting a tree going 5 mph

Actually I read the RCU review of the Duratrax Axis buggy for the hell of it yesterday when I was bored, pretty impressive durability for a Duratrash.

crap!!!!!!!!!

when i was trying to start my buggy, it got hydrolocked, and when i tried to spin it over( not knowing at the time that it was hydrolocked), the back plate crapped out on me. now my grand repair total is 12.49+ tax. ohh well. at least it's not too expensive. but hey, if you want to send me repair parts, that's fine

sure what ever you say I spent 150 on the kit and 100 on the servos and a 100 on the motor so I would say 375 to get it running that is inculding all the odds and ends like tires a gallon of fuel a glow ignitor and how much did you pay for yours used what 400 and the electronics and radio suck in it

The 2 of you both act like a bunch of kindergarten kids and neither know what you're talking about... It's quite amusing. Neither Sportwerks nor XTM are seen doing well at all in races other than at the club level where as OFNA actually makes a presence in the pro circuit.

Until "Been There Wrecked That" cant give a legitamate reason as to why his XTM is so great and lets say, a Hyper 7 and Mayhem "suck," I will continue to have 0 respect for "BTWT."

"You get what you pay for"

The radio that comes with the Mayhem does not "suck," it
