I good thing for all my fellow RC18MT/T fans is that now we can finally have a truck that is good quality and run it in dirt and not worry about getting pebbles/dirt in the spur gear. The mini LST will be my outdoor and my RC18MT will be my indoor .

After checking out the photo's at one18th, i dunno what the hell to do now, I've always wanted a buggy and had recently planned on buying a mini inferno, shelfing my alum mini T and making a beater outta the spare parts, but this mini Lst is looking like the real deal. W/ a synthesized fm radio the 200 buck price tag looks hella good. I think this just proves that after being the first real contender in the 1/18 scale market, losi is going to lead the pack w/ this one. Has anyone heard ANYTHING about run times??? 2 servo's and two motors a 6cell is gonna be toast in 10 mins.

With ball bearings stock, A SLIPPER CLUTCH! (The only downfall of the 18t), And big azz oil filled shocks. This thing, like i said before, Will be the next Big thing in 1/18th scale. I cant friggin wait.

Anyone heard a release date?? i've heard the end of October and before christmas..

I second what 2DMaxxLST said.
I NEVER would have found it here and the LST fourm is where I would have posted it had I saw the mini first. It is an MT even if it is a mini.

As far as that goes, I could flood the MT forums with posts and photos about Radio Shack Zip Zap Monster Trucks. If you guys would rather complain about how you actually found this thread, you can either PM me or file a ticket. Either way, it can remain off of the forum and out of public view because it doesn't contribute to this thread. The Mini-LST is a "Mini" whether you guys like or not and pages of comments were already posted in this forum before others "stumbled" upon it in the other forum and even mentioned something about how other threads should be posted here. The way I look at it is that some of the members may have actually expanded their horizons by actually visiting other forums instead of restricting themselves. As for locking threads, I also know that some members will intentionally visit locked threads simply to see why they are locked and guess were they ended up. Consequently, if members simply want to argue and not contribute to the topic at hand, I will enforce RCU Community Rules and if that means deleting posts to clear up a thread, I will not hesitate.

No, just a y cable to connect both BEC wires on the ESCs.

Thanks T! Hey will they really be selling mini lst's at the ihobby expo?

Horizon is listed as an exhibitor, but I don't know if the Mini-LST will be sold at the expo. Many times there are "show" specials, yet not everything is for sale to the public and may only be on display for trade. At RCX 2005, I did purchase the Nomadio Sensor and a second Kyosho Mini-Inferno which were available through eHobbies prior to being distributed throughout the USA. I also have made numerous purchases at other trade shows, RC and otherwise.

At iHobbyExpo I plan to check out the 1/5th scale HPI buggy, the CEN Mini-Madness, and the Kyosho AWD Mini-Z, but I'll be sure to try and check out the Mini-LST if it is on display and try to drive it if possible. Honestly, I am more interested in the CEN Mini-Madness over the Mini-LST simply because it ships with a 540 motor and since I don't care about the stock transmitter. I've already given away around three dozen AM transmitters.

Regarding dual motors--what happens if one motor pulls more than another? Is the set-up restricted to the slower motor or will the faster motor try to pull more anyway? If anyone tries to run dual brushless motors with the Mamba-25 speed control, please post some feedback along with some temp readings. The same with the Mamba-Maxx speed control.

Cool, could you definately check out the mini-lst. Could you get some answers to these question, please?

1. Whats the cell count limit on the esc?
2. What size motors can the esc handle?
3. Whats the max amount of cells that can fit in the battery tray.

Thanks Man,
if you could and if their selling it at a good price 190 or less, could you pick one up for me and I'll pay you? If not thats cool.

The phone number to the electronics service department is in the Mini-LST manual: 877-504-0233. More information will probably be out before iHobbyExpo, but I'll try to get more specifics if they are not out by then. As far as purchasing products for anyone--that is not in my agenda.

only thing i can think of is a current adjuster to each motor kinda like a gyro on a heli tnb and if one motor lags the other motor will have to make up for the drag on the other motor etc i think it was a waist of time for 2 motors and just makes more less run time etc.....
