Crazy speed

allthought that wont happen unless your running to receivers lMAO love how imagination runs off..

i think that would more of a torque issues then high speed..

it is called a y-harness... here it is. people here in the airplane world run dual BL and even quad sometimes it is not hard.

ok you build one.. and run 2 battery packs on that tell me how fun it is.. i mean thats just to ridiculas.. your not gonna get any faster. because you wont be able to control it. not to mention all the extra weight etc... not my forte

you can wire the packs for two options

1 more runtime. actually, almost double.
2 a lot more power than before. fun

Two battery Packs = more weight
Two battery Packs depending on how wired may also mean more voltage than the ESC could handle.
More amp draw could also be more than the ESC could handle.

i was just showing it could be dome. i would never do it because it would break parts like no other. and you would not have to run 2 packs the y-harness is to combine the 2 esc's into 1 so it can be run off 1 channel. but in the end it is pointless. if i get one it will stay stock, mabe better brushed motors but thats it.

and upon further reviw when i was writing my last post i realized the battery connecors areon the ESC's so you would need 2 batts, but from what i know in the plane world they didnt use 2 batts, just a 2 cell li-po.

if a mamba can't move it, neither can this. don't expect it to. this thing is too weak, just like the mamba

Check out this forum post there is a dude there from TEKIN. And he was saying that these motors will have higher power outputs than the MAMBA. Taking care of the cogging issues. Of course you can only take this with a grain of salt since he does work for tekin. But on the other The MAMBA technology is almost 2-3 years old.

Why does everyone think that a single mamba 8000 with a 3 cell li-po wont be powerful enough? i mean from the picture it looks to be pretty much twice as big as the mini-t, and i dont know, i think the mamba could make it move great. Maybe i will just have to throw one of my mamba's in it when i get my hands on losi's new creation. But really guys, how powerful do you want this thing? Have you ever tried to control a mini-t approaching 50 mph?

Myself, I own numerous minis and one of them is a brushless Kyosho Mini-Inferno. The CM2080 simply got too hot when I ran it with a 3-cell 11.1v lipo. Eventually, I switched it over to an AON brushless motor. I also own a brushless Xray M18 and a brushless AE RC18T, both of which have CM2080s. Myself, I'm all for someone else trying to use a CM2080 with a 3-cell LiPo in the Mini-LST (or the CEN Mini-Madness for that matter). I just hope they can provide the rest of us with some accurate motor temp and speed control temp readings. 200+ 210+ 220+

I agree the Mambas just won't have the Torque for this, sure they rev hi but thats like saying why won't my tuned Civic engine run this Kenilworth Rig

It's deffinatley a 6 cell pack, 4 then 2 on the end.

If it has low run times there is an easy answer... Buy more packs

For the motor I think I might try an Axi outrunner, heaps of torque....
