It's probably going to have to have a large motor to haul those tires and wheels around. Perhaps, I'll be able to get a few photos of it next month.

if the thing even takes that size motor. from the look of it, i think it will have a 540 motor.

I new to Electric,But if the 540 motor is 1/10 scale size than the Mamba Max should drop in just fine?

of course it looks prototypeish...its still in testing. the reason they dont put flashy bodies on is because they dont want people to notice it, they want to hide it till its been throughly tested.

it's a low profile body that still looks okay. it's really serving 2 purposes. they are still in testing, and if they have the body, they want it to be a surprise until they announce it.

so, they are using that to

1 be low profile
and
2 not spoil the suprise

Just something I posted a little more than a month ago on another thread...

quote:

But who really cares if one is asking about the fastest? After all, a Novak GTB Racing ESC quote:

can be used with either brushless or brushed motors, has no brushed motor limit, and is compatible with all Novak 540-size sensored brushless motors: Velociti 5.5 Racing (5 1/2-turn), Velociti 6.5 Racing (6 1/2-turn), SS5800 (8 1/2-turn), and SS4300 (10 1/2-turn).
http://www.teamnovak.com/products/brushless/gtb_system/index.html

And if the CEN Mini-Madness ships RTR with a 540-size motor, then a 540-size brushless motor should fit which should make it run faster than most can probably control it.
