I'm glad you figured it out, because it's been almost six years since I built one and I don't remember having to do anything special. LOL!

Anyone got a line on where one might find a suitable canopy for the BullDog...or some tips on making one?

See this thread for making your own canopy. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=1040369

The Great Planes Cap 21 canopy has about the right shape. Although it may be a little large. You should be able to cut it down though. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJ940&P=7

The Kyosho Pitts canopy should be about the right size, if you can find one.

Wheee....

Bottom wing is curing as we speak, fuse is done, tail feathers are done and covered. Dropped off the graphics at the local sign shop today, should get them tomorrow. Getting close!

flyrcboy,

I've been remiss in documenting this build, actually...I'll drag out the cheap digicam here in a bit and take some shots of the progress.

Here ya go. A shot of the bottom wing nearing completion, the fuselage all framed out, and "Jim" himself.

Lookin' good Gordon! I'm glad you posted pics. It's great to see the progress.

Here are a few pics of mine taken a couple of weeks ago - for inspiration.

SMACK ! OOh, Thanks I needed that !!

The Li'l Pitts of mine will go this week some time...probably in the morning before the afternoon storms blow in..would be best. Did a test run a full throttle on a 9x6 it will just hang vertical at four foot, any inputs cause a loss of altitude .... humm maybe a little less prop??

Cheers
