hi.i`ve just bought rc18t and a mamba competition x motor and esc.i`m new to electric cars.i always see these things called LATHES or something of that sort.i haven`t put on the mamba as yet.DO U HAVE TO BREAK IN ELECTRIC MOTORS AS U WOULD BREAK IN A NITRO MOTOR?

mambas are brushless (BL) - no break-in required.

thanks for that help.another question is that i noticed that that the power is connected directly to the motor via the switch.if i leave the battery connected with the switch off will the battery get drained out.will it be supplying some power to the motor with the switch off

im not shure, but it cant hurt to just unplucg the batt anyway, thats what i do, also you may want to get a new battery pack. ill post a link when i can find the one i have

Do not rely on the switch it will still have power connected and drain the pack. I just leave my switch on and unplug the pack when not in use
