I'm looking to make a new field stand for my Bat.

Lets see your pictures or hear of your ideas on what you like or dislike about yours. I am going to use PVC pipe, 1"-1 1/2" and mount it on my Field Box.

28 looks and no one has a field stand to start your combat planes on?

Guess everyone just starts them in hand Or is it that the cameras are out of batteries

I will post mine when I am done. I was looking for ideas that everyone liked so I might use in mine.

Dont usually end up with my cmara and flight box in the same area. I just bored 3/4" holes in the four corners of my box and built a half inch pvc stand over the box. Removable to transport and has a good base.

Don't have a shot of mine either but I built a 3/4" pvc frame and stand that fit tightly down overthe top of my box. Worked real well except that I have to get down on one knee to start and both knees to work on things. Not good for my ole geezer back. I will be building one this winter that I can stand next to. The taller ones have always been a worry to me about stability issues but I have never seen one blow over so everyone is making them right.

Go to Lou Melancon's web site, www.georgiacombat.com. Click on Glow Engine RC Combat, next click on Combat Techniques and Technologies then click on Flite line equipment. I have built this stand and it is a life saver. Two years ago I had both knees replaced and cannot kneel down very well, it is perfect for my needs

Mr field can't stand, it just sorta lays there and grows grass. It's kinda boring, but I like it.

Ok, a start-stand pic. Made of 1/2" PVC conduit (less expensive than the white PVC pipe and is UV tolorant), a few Ts and some 1/2" pipe insulation cushions. It works, but needs to be taller so planes can be started while standing up.

Here's mine. I attach it to my field box with 2 Cintas webbed belts that Velcro together. Real tight and secure, even at full throttle, it does not move. It is 28" tall so it is at a handy height to work on and start.

Not the best of pictures. It is a tad low for my tastes but normally i just put the stand on the table and start it there.

Here's one for ya. It's a little bigger than most, but thats b/c it is a new triple-combo feature design- field stand / wing storage / wing carrier, all-in-one. Sure, it won't fit into the trunk of your civic, but, it sure does look good in th eback of my pickup, and the chicks dig it!
