Khodges, that's amazing! Is that scratch-built or just a really well done WB kit? As I recall the Joseph Nieto drawings of the Roland D2 include detailed drawings of the Spandau.

Khodges, Thanks!
Those are great shots! Do you have any close up side shots of the cocking levers?

I also need some detailed pics of the MG08 aeriel version. I found some shots of the infantry version but I don't know what difference there is other than the cooling shroud.

I just plugged "Spandau Machine Gun" into Microsoft search, and went to a couple of the first five listings, found these pics. Wish I had one of them, it'd be great for rush hour traffic

Much as I'd like to, I can't take credit for these. I'd wind up in some thread about some guy who said he built these cool machine guns, but they were really ARF's

I got curious and looked it up again. It's www.repligun.com This is a full size replica, from aluminum and resin castings, sells for .........ONLY.............$2500. Buy two before the price goes up. For that price, they should be functional.

I did that same search and didn't see the good shots you found. Saw all the rest tho.
Where do Repligun have the prices? Not that I would be paying that much for one.
