Status: offline 		I just tried sucking fuel out the pressure line, and nope didn't work. I can also see the clunk moving around, like it is still attached to something. Well anyway, most of the fuel drained out overnight on my shop floor!

Back to the shop now, gonna take the tank out of the plane...................

I removed the fuel tank from the plane. I carefully labeled the hoses so I knew what was attached to what. Here is what I found:

The tank was installed right side up, correctly.

The clunk line was still connected.

The clunk line is the feed line connected to the carb.

The pressure line was the highest fitting in the tank, pointed up.

The fill line was curved down.

All lines are tight. All lines are connected properly. The clunk moves freely inside the tank and has a 1/4" clearance at the back end.

BTFOM!!!

Just like the Slimline Fueler was a mystery to me, so is this fuel tank situation. I could never get my Rascal to run right with the Slimline valve. I pulled it out and the Rascal runs great. I sent the valve to someone else, and it works great for them. Now I have this tank in this F-20 and it is all voodoo and jinxed too!

Well, I just reinstalled everything as before, and it is all connected correctly. Guess I just have to fly this plane on half a tank all the time.

Status: offline 		You could always try a Jett Bubbless tank. The muffler pressure forces the bladder empty.

I just received that plane X-Mass Gift! I have a GMS61(approx 25oz) Do you think that it could be a good match for that plane with a 11x7APC prop. I also have a Evolution.46 that I could use with a 9x9 or 10x6.

Let me know what you think.

I will upgrade some of the hardware, but it look good the covering is perfect! we don't see that every day.

Just to give me idea, how the plane handle at low speed? any bad habit? I will as always seal my hinges.

Status: offline 		GMS .61 is heavy. No way can a Evo .46 run a 9X9 prop. I would think a 9X7 at best, or 10X7. I can't run a 9X8 on a much stronger Rossi.

Status: offline 		I would use the 46 too....with a 9-7 prop for starters.

I think my 45 Rossi runs a 9-7 to get into the 18K rev range. The Jett 50 might turn
the 9-8 full blast.

Status: offline 		I've got four Rossi's on planes, and another four in a cabinet waiting to be used. All are .40 to .45. I never spent the money for a .53, yet. A Super Sportster 40 ARF, Four Star 40 with 5 servos, a Scat Cat/Quickie 500, and a Sig Something Extra is what I decided to put them on, after being bored with slow OS SX and FX engines on them.
These have the large outlet Rossi mufflers which are extremely loud and obnoxious. I like them for that alone. I tried a 9X8 prop last week on two of them with horrible results, only 12300 rpm on the ground. I went back to 9X6 and easily hit my 17000 rpm ground speed and could hear it unwind more in the air. The Four Star 40 had a 9X7.5 APC that really made the engine load up. I'm running 10% nitro fuel and I'm using a McCoy #59 plug. Any Rossi advice would be appreciated. I've got three F-20 TigerSharks to complete. If I can find a YS .45, I'd prefer to use it. But the Rossi's are my new favorite engine overall.

It's a prop jet man! Thats like eating salsa with no hot stuff in it.
Do not fly it slow. It will get very unresponsive on the roll and even tip stall a bit at the worst possible time.
The only time you back off the trottle is to taxi and land.
