Hi Otto,

In your earlier emails you suggested:
15% Nitro and 7% castor and 7% synthetic oil, which makes up 14% total oil content BEST for RCV engines.
Is this a TRUE statement for someone who wants to mix his own fuel?
You also mentioned about Cooper custom blends preping this fuel for you.
Do you guys have any particular brand name synthetic oil in mind (like Klotz) for superior lubrication characteristics and rust inhibition?

Best regards,

Ahmet

Hello
Yes this in fact is a true statement, I however do not know what his oil is, I do know that it is made by a world leader in lubrication technology, and that it is actually a lubricant and not a mold release agent.
Someone has to mix the fuel, why not it be you. Klotz T-lube would be adequate as the synthetic, I know that Coopers uses a higher grade of synthetic which is not Etheline glycol based (IE Ucon or Union Carbide LB 625 mold release agent) The Glycol based oils are very low grade, the reason they do not make a mess is because they vaporize in the combustion chamber if you run them too lean. I have used and prefer going to a local auto parts store and buying ISO 100 Refrigeration Ester oil for Freon 134 applications, this by far is the best as the synthetic component of your fuel. You may also blend Klotz with this oil as the synthetic component to lower your costs. If you buy this oil make sure it comes in a bottle with a standard pour opening and not sealed in a puncture can, already mixed with Freon. I do have Coopers fuel available to guys who are having a hard time finding it. I have it in cases of 12 quarts this way the hazardous shipping charge which UPS charges is not applicable. Because these engines are very efficient the 3 gallons of fuel go a long way. I also run this fuel in all of my other engines as well, since I never run an engine over 10,000 revs.

Thank You
Otto
