I have the same system, wife gave it to me for my birthday. I have flown it in my Kingcat and it works pretty good. We have added an Arcos (sp?) digital recorder and display which allows for real time viewing and recording (so the pilot can see it), it is the size of a PDA. Originally we taped the camara to the side of the pilots seat, which worked ok. I am working on a better long term mounting solution that, I hope, will pretty much hide the camara. I am not sure I buy the range they talk about in the web site you point to, but it looks to be good enough. Steven quote:
ORIGINAL: dbarrym I have a 2.4GHz wireless system that I'll be flying soon in Buck's A10X. I bought mine complete with a high gain antenna, a 12V RX and video demodulator, and the camera/TX assembly used for about $100. The new systems can be found here: BoosterVision Basically they just repackage all of the components without any apparent changes - I can track down the OEM supplier(s) if anyone is interested, you might be able to put someting together fairly inexpensively.
