hey.......that is pretty nice looking.......

.30- .40 size ....... fairly large with a 610sq wing ..... glass fuselage. Im surprised I have not seen more discussion on these.

Apparently they offer it built as well as ready-to-cover or ARF for an additional cost.

Im gonna have to bookmark this..

Bob

Fly-ty-guy, the " ARD Stingray " in my first post is a link to the site, just in case you missed it.

It does look pretty good. Price isn't too bad either if the quality is there.

thanks e-dave. I checked out the site and they look like pretty nice planes. I bookmarked it as well. Pretty reasonably priced as well!

yeah $85 is not bad. I must admit it looks better than a srike, thanks to a rounded fuselage along rear and aft apexes....
But it is not difficult to take one design an alter it slightly as well !!
Please post any feedback on kit delivery.

I emailed them as well, haven't gotten a response yet. I really like the curves of this plane!

I am fairly sure they are still in business but with a very screwed up web site. I called them about a month ago, the girl who answered said they were still in production. Dont think you would get a 2 month wait on a kit, the guy must want a ARF?

Unfortuantly, I broke down and bought a shrike kit.... I still think this one looks nicer, but the shrike isn't that bad!

rmenke,

thx for posting this info. How shall I contact them by email ? Is the email address mentioned on their web site not valid ?

For me, no, arfs just suck... building such airframes is dead easy and you can choose YOUR paint scheme, which is unvaluable...
