Hey Guys,
I have used inventor a lot at school, but we are used to drawing parts given to us, not making new stuff off the top of our head (such as a model airplane). Could someone explain to me the process they go through to create an airplane in inventor? Thanks in advance.

I start to model the entire aircraft like a single parts. If you can, make a shell of 3/32 (for the sheeting) After that, I put workplane where I want to make fuselage section or ribs for the wing. Make an extrude at each workplane. This slice will become your reference to make the structure of your aircraft.

This is , roughfly, how I do it !!

Closterman, Toujours les belles avions & dessins!
Ton 'Porter' pourrais faites un plus belle example!

You're creating an assembly, jsut like anything else you've drawn / assembled.

Just like drawing, start with one part. The rest will soon follow!
