Yes, Nylon Gold N Rods.

To hook them up, all you have to do is to screw the end onto the actuator pin (Instead of a clevis).

Here's a drawing, I have pics at home that I'll try to remember to post.

MinnFlyer, I haven't seen any posts on the retract units you're developing. Any news for us?

Apparantly, 3DX Hobbies no longer carry this size retract. I have been checking their web site periodically for almost a year, and they have been out of stock. Is there another source for the gear?

I still have plans to produce them, I have been so busy manufacturing http://airfoilz.com planes, that I have not be able to get them back into production, but do plan on it for 07'. Once I have a better Idea on a date for release I will let you all know.

No, Paul (Furyflyer2) has the exclusive rights to production. Keep an eye on the website. As he said, he plans to run another batch in 2007

Thanks for your reply, however, looking at the web site, it is perfectly understandable that these retracts have been unavailable for so long: they are not a fit with the rest of the product line handled by 3DX.

It is easy to conclude that these retracts will always be a low priority at 3DX. Not a slam at 3DX, just being realistic. Every business has to take care of their "bread and butter" customers first.

No sorry they are not low on the priority level, just have not had time to tool up, but I am making arrangements to get them done.
