Now what fun would it be if we had nothing to fix at the field. Truthfully, no I did not. The mounting blocks are fairly close, so I'm hoping it will be ok. I will check it out before I bring it to the field.

Andrew,
Now that you have it all re-covered.... Did you check for pushrod flex by pushing the control surface back against the servo?

Well, that kind of thing isn't usually something you can fix at the field, but if the pushrods are well supported down their length, then you'll probably be ok, and it is a cub after all.

This is the latest release for the Wii. I have been amazed at how this product is positioned. It really does cross all age groups!

Wii fit was released yesterday and I picked one up . The 2 year replacement agreement at cirtuit city is worth it for only 15 bucks. Considering the abuse that balance board will take!

That was cool. I lauged when he went from just floating around to full speed!

By the way. I was at the field yesterday with Steve. There were some heavy winds and rain that passed over around 6:00pm. It finally cleard up and was very nice. Partly sunny skies and minimal wind! There was a 5 minute period of heavy gusts that ripped some of the plastic off around the shelter.

I could have sworn that you covered the Cub already. Now I see the sides cut off. What a disappointment. Is this just an excuse not to fly the model? Just kidding;-) Better to make it right than find out on the first flight!

Here is one insane biplane:

I bet the Germans wish the full scale could do that;-)

Here's another one. I love the paint scheme!

Gotta love a hovering WWI bipe;-) I've seen MikeT do some cool hovering with his DVII, but that Albatros is way overpowered.

I'm going to try to get out to the field tonight so work your magic, Sam! Keep the wind away!

Mark,

Be sure to link us to that video of your plane please. I think this video will look better.

What a great day. I got a total of 6 flights. One of them was the Cub. The Cub flies, after a 13 year rest. I flew the trainer twice, My Four Star made three flights and Kirk took the Cub up for it's maiden. It was so cool to see that thing fly after all this time. Great weather nice people, just a great time.

-Andrew

Kirk, Thanks again for taking the Cub up.

Where was everyone? This had to be the best day of the year so far, little to no wind, sunny skies and great flying!
