At least they fell that way instead of on your driveway.

I was driving back to our shop when all *%@&# broke loose. I have never driven in rain like that in my 16 years of driving a rig. WOW.

A couple on the other side fell also, but I moved them with the
skid loader so I could pick up Nicole at the bus stop.

Well it is official...

I bought my first JR radio ever. I got a good deal on a 10x with the spectrum module
in it from someone I trust. I ordered an AR9100 Rx for the 40% plane and will purchase
1 more smaller Rx for the pattern plane. I will run that in the Showtime first just to get
the feel for the radio, programming with it, and build confidence with the 2.4.

I have spent way to much money on this project so I will be settling in for a while and
not buying any more r/c stuff for a while.

BTW I have my 9z listed on Ebay if you are interested. $265 with a synthesized module,
case, 2100 battery, and extra gimbals extensions. Nice radio, but complicated!

For those who haven't received their rebate check, here is the reason it is late. It also may not be coming. The government is now 1.2 billion dollars in the hole.

Crew ejected safely. Moisture in a sensor caused the crash.

You will be very happy with your JR. I love both of mine and now that I have am able to use two reievers with my DX7 I love it even more. I was having issues with a dual bind, but after contacting tech support they walked me right threw it. My 33% Edge is almost ready and I hope to get some time off of work soon as well as some nice weather. Good luck with your 10x kelly.

I love the 10x and I don't even have the Rx for it yet!

I am getting real close now!!! All servo's in place and I started working on the
wiring and battery placement so I could work out the CG. The CG is within a 1/2"
of the plan so I am good to go for final installation of the gear.

I used the method I posted a long time ago to figure the CG. It is bases on weight
of each wheel and distance from a known point, (the wall in this case) with the spinner
touching the wall.

Here is the math:

Left side wheel = 17.375 pounds
Right side wheel = 16.9375 pounds
Rear wheel = 4.0625 pounds

Total = 38.375 pounds

Left = 25.5" from wall x 17.375 pounds = 443.0625
Right = 25.5" from wall x 16.9375 pounds = 431.90625
Rear = 104.5" from wall x 4.0625 pounds = 424.53125

= 1299.5 x 38.375 pounds = CG - 33.86"

Tip of spinner to front of wing tube = 34.125"
Plans call for 1/2" forward of the front of the wing tube = 33.5" from wall

I need to move the batteries forward just a bit.
