Nice pics Mike. Mark sure can take a serious picture
The Mustang takes more concentration?

Getting her back in the air was a real wakeup, Its like flying a helicopter, you need to be on it all the time. That Cub can brainwash you into thinking your flying is really good !

There is something screwy with the aerodynamics on this particular plane. Cecil's never flew like this, so it might be some weird flow over the tail from the razorback I added or there's something wrong with the wing. I've tried a bunch of things and nothing seems to help. There's no danger or anything like that, just some planes fly better than others.

So, I just fly it now. For some reason, the transition from the 9303 on 72 to 9303 on 2.4 wasn't a straight shot, I had to readjust trims, the throws and expo once she was in the air.

Perhaps I've changed my flying style over the past year, I now tend to like my controls very sensitive, that allows for quick corrections and IMO, a more connected "feel" of course the down side is you must be careful not to get into "PIO"

Well the day has come... The twins will be separated on Sunday, Fathers Day, 2008.

Just about 8 months of work to get the planes ready for setup/programming. It has
been a lot of work but the build was good for my head over the winter.

Last 2 pictures = the box of wood and finished product.

Kelly, they look absolutely fantastic. Your attention to detail is second to none.

I finally had a sucessful maiden of the Cub this morning. My last two flights ended in dead stick landings. This morning I got the plane up in the air and back down (under power this time) with no problems. I was shaking like a leaf, but I did it.

I hope all the father's had a great day.

It was a sad day for some I guess.......... but not me!! The plane is awesome. I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it again, the attention to detail and quality of workmanship is second to none. Can't wait to get it out to the field.

I have one of those cams. I'm glad to see it can take some abuse. It was one heck of a view.
