Kelly,
Does that mean that you'll have a kitchen pass for the weekend to fly the event? Cool

The wife just walked in and saw the date and said
"you know that is the day we are leaving right"

They are off to Florida for a week and I was supposed
to take them to the airport. The flight is at 11:00.

I asked her if she cared if I skipped taking them and I don't
think she really minds but then I won't be able to say goodbye
to the kids if I have to leave the house a 7:00 to get to the field.

The kids might be up anyway and I could say goodbye before I
leave the house, or maybe arrive a little late to the field.

I'll talk to her some more, we would have to leave her car at the
airport or I would have to get someone to come with me and pick
it up later on Monday. It might only be $20.00 to leave it parked,
I don't know?

Thank you, DD.... I could barely even respond to that post...... as a friend of ours would say, "learn how to work".

Ummm exactly how does that help with saying goodbye to my 3 kids
that won't see me for a week ?

And we are talking about 8 people and luggage not just my wife and kids.

Kelly, if you want, get your wife to leave the car at a lot, and call you with the parking spot number. After the first day of flying I'll drive you up to the airport (BWI?) and we can pick up the car, resulting in only a part day charge. You can pick them up in person when they get back.

As for saying bye to the kids, that's a bit harder. The night before? nudge them awake in the morning if they aren't already up? Not much help here, I'm afraid.
