I hope Sean Evans or John 8861(lovely model by the way) are still reading this thread.

My dad has just finished his Yellow P-40 and it is ready for paint. However it has come out nose heavy and to balance it he has to have the batteries next to the tailwheel. Is this normal??

Any help appreciated.

Hi Jason,

My friend Cal Branton built one last season and did have to add tail weight to it. He was flying it with a DA50. I'm sorry I don't remember the all up weight but it did balance with tail weight. It's a great flyer.....
