Hi,

I got caught. The P-40 on the other thread wasn't a World Models, it was the new Yellow Aircraft one. I am reluctant to call it an ARF, lest it conjur images of plastic parts, way-out-of-scale parts and cheap hardware. We prefer the term "Professionally Built and Painted Models."

Anyway, thought you guys would like to see.

Hey,

These babies are actually real p-cats (RCU edits out the P word--even when referring to something feline) to fly. You'll have a lot of fun on your GSP one, I'm sure. I saw a BEAUTIFULLY built-out one in Sung Kim's garage that his buddy Scott built. Wow.

Yes i know Shaun , believe me I am so close , just need another summer of flying .
I have hearn and seen nothing but good things about Yellow aircraft . When you released the P40 I immeditly tried to find the pics and was extremely impressed .
The P40 is my favorite plane so after a while you start to look for perfection and the yellow is by far perfection , I started with a red box TF p40 , Then a global P40 , then built and sold a godl edition , have a Pics 1/6 sitting a box for the day when my kitd graduate school (9 )years lol , the GSP is my winter project . I will change the tail , add an interior , add gear and possibly flaps .
So my next graduation is obviously a Yellow p40 . Keepen coming , you guys make great planes

YellowAircraft-Shaun,
So, in answer to the question...What's the cost of your P-40? Inquiring minds want to know.

Shaun, great pics, can you tell me, do you offer both these planes
as ARF's ? For example i like the scheme on the #88 better.
Do you offer this one? Or just the #38 scheme? Thanks,

What is the big secret on the prices for Yellow Aircraft kits? They have no prices listed on thier website and its like pulling teeth to find out how much they are. I buy a lot of high end kits and it is nice to figure out the cost when making the decision to buy. I know they have a printed price list so why not put it on the website. They do make very nice kits and maybe they sell all they can make so they don't have to bother with prices. Enough of my rant, the ARF P-40 looks great. Don

I agree Don. Yellow has never done that. On Shaun's site however
he has the prices posted. great site he has. but he still didnt answer
my question here.

I guess if I need one, I will have to have Kenny order it thru Tam

I don't "Need" any of this. It's a hobby. However, a price list, even if subject to change, is helpfull. Hey, I can always buy from someone else.

Awhile back, we used to have Yellow Aircraft fax us current prices on thier product. FAX? didn't they get rid of those things a long time ago . Don't know if they would still do that today, you can check. I don't mind not knowing the price... all you have to do is call, if you want it bad enough. However the prices is good and its not like they give you a list of over inflated pricing.

Just how ARF-y is this plane. I looked at the web site and it only mentions that the fuselage is prepainted. Looks like the wings, stab, elevators, etc. have to be finished up and painted. If that is the case I wonder how difficult it would be to get the colors to match.

Todd,

You crack me up. Why wouldn't you just order it through Tam yourself? Why does Kenny have to do it? At any rate, the existing ARF P-40's are mine, so Tam wouldn't be able to get of those for you--besides, you're too far into your Bates to want one, right? Why the Kenny/Tam BS? It's only the 22nd, and your question popped up on the 20th. I don't live in front of my computer, so a little patience would be nice.

Don,

I hear ya, bro. I don't disagree at all. Thing is, when you're a gazillionaire several times over, you don't have to care a whole lot about whether or not you update your website to other peoples' satisfaction. That's one of the reasons I started my own website--complete with prices. There's no pulling teeth, though.....If it's not on www.yellowaircraftplanes.com , then it's only a phone call away. I probably get three to five calls a day, and I usually enjoy each one. If you do ever have a question, and don't wanna drop a dime, email me ur phone number and I'll call you.

The P-40 ARF is totally complete. There's no finsishing whatsoever. There's only gear to install like engine, landing gear and servos. The tail assemply is even removeable. The price is $2800.
