Jetmech, I had a Bonanza for just over ten years. I remember moving the tow bar to the left would raise the left ruddervator, but it seems like it only came up to, or just above neutral. The yoke was a rest in a full forward position. The right, as I recall, would deflect a little bit further down. ( Its been a long time, my memory is a bit fuzzy!) Most of the time I checked the rudder during flight control checks with the yoke forward, hands off, not in the elevator neutral position. This was to let the yoke move and check the aileron interconnect. I always assumed the ruddervators moved in equal, and opposite directions if the control yoke was in an elevator neutral position. I seem to remember full up elevator, and full left rudder input would lower the right ruddervator, and the left would stay full up. There was a totaly cool system of cables, springs and levers to mix this all together. In flight it control input worked just like any other "normal" aircraft. Maybe this answers your question. Hope so.

I'm not sure what color it is but here is a link from the F.A.A. Registry for the owner of that airplane. You can contact the owner and find out.

Well, This is a great thread , I bought a kit a few months ago when I saw them at Tower Hobbies, always wanted a V-Tail. I'm half way through the build and I am also putting a 91FX in it . About the Muffler I am installing a custom Made in cowl muffler I mad from one of the TF muffler connected to a second one on the other side of the engine connected by a cross over tube. This gave me the need volume for the larger engine and it runs cool in my testing of 3 hours. It also give me dual exhaust ports. I think it even improved the sound.
I am even thinking of possibly trying to fit the 120 FX with this custom dual exhaust set up. All aluminum .049 wall tubing tig welded and I think the weight of the 120 would even ballance the bird a little better. I'll post some Pictures as soon as I have time to do it for you guys that are into this plane.
I always like to have power to spare.

I would really like to see your pictures of your custom muffler. I have not started my build yet and have not bought an engine yet either. I've been thinking of the O.S. 75 but if your custom muffler looks good I might use your idea. I have access to a welding shop. I did get the in cowl muffler and the TF exhaust header. I've been collecting everything I need for the build and was going to wait till this fall to start.
