Does any one here have an Axe Rossi 198R VP Modified on his SP2? I need to know how well does an SP2 handles a 3.7 hp on the track, i also need comparison with other cars running on the track using different engine. I need to know how fast it is compared to others. Planning to purchase this engine if someone will affirm to the performance of this engine. thanx in advance.

Note: (lets assume the car that has this engine has a good set up)

I wouldn't entertain them. The standard Uj's are hardened and good enough. Plus with them being titanium they will probably wear out your drive cups quicker.

Geez that makes sense, you save me a lot of money. so people who have those Titanium universals already should also have a matching titanium drive cups followed by titanium gears. oh man, that would be like our money is being drawn into a black hole.

The Kyosho MP777 SP2 buggy is strong enough. The only updrade I see necessary is the front alloy knuckles as they are cast, They are worth replacing with machined aluminium king headz or fioroni. But even the knuckles arent that bad some drivers will use them and not have issues.

I have replaced them as I like to make my buggy as reliable as possible for racing, You don't win if you don't finish.

And kyosho to me = reliability

As for engines after trying different brands I have to say RB are the best for performance, durability ease of running in and tuning.

Does the body from the standard 777 come pre-trimmed or do I have to cut it out?

I use to use scissors and a hobby knife. But ever since I used a dremel, I've never used any thing else. The dremel is deffinitly my favorite for trimming bodies.

I agree, thats why I got the SP2, I also have an RB engine, Had a C5 in there and it was awsome, now that is in my revo and I have a ws7iii, in there and it is amazing, the only things I have ever had problems with for reliability is the things that aren't Kyosho, like tirees being glued, and other little things

I have a bit that I use for my engine mods, I'm not sure what part number it is off hand. I also use the disc bit and drum sander. It makes the cleanest finish!
