Have just got a Thunder tiger trainer 60 and the fuel tank provided in the kit is a plastic one. Is it possible to get an aluminum alternative with a sight tubing for fuel level that I can fit instead of the plastic one??

Welcome aboard...and a Tassie guy too (I was born in Burnie).
Clunk tanks only come in plastic and there's no real reason to fit a sight gauge anyway because the only time you could use it would be with the model sitting alongside you. You'd never see it while flying. Do you have some other reason for needing one?

no other reason for fitting one up other than remember from school days (a long time ago and the start of my love of model airplanes and the smell of that fuel burning) tanks on science lab bench being fitted with sight gauges and being of tin construction (soldered together) , so thought it might be a newer type of tank available ,tin---alluminum-----plastic . but will stick with the plastic as is fitted and tt trainer is almost finnished (got sidetracked with a speed air 40, kwick fly 2 , p51 double trouble 180 size and a spitfire mark 5 180 size running saito 180's ) also have 4 x p51 pts rtf's about to arrive .Have learnt a lot in last couple of months , mainly due to the help I have recieved on here ,so thanks to everone
