well, I found a good deal on some honeybee (FP) RTF kits. it's a gigantic lot of 100 for $75. heh, nice huh. anyways, is the honeybee (FP) better than the #4? this is (using formal name ESKY E-004 4Ch heli) If I had enough I'd try to get the 36 lot, but I've got to work in stages!

Ok so that's what it is. Would you guys recommend, get that (expecting to sell them off on ebay, for like 40 bucks a pop and low shipping... maybe set them up and make it truly a RTF bird ) or is the Dragonfly #4 better quality? I've had the impression that the honeybee is better quality then the walkera products, but IS it?

just reply with a quick post saying: yeah the esky is better (then say WHY) or no those dragonflys are great, so much better then those cheap eskys (and why not to get the eskys) IT's if possible soon is great as I've got only a day to try to get this (please don't ask)
and finally it'd be great if you'ld say somthing along the lines of (what the heck! why are you getting a lot/oooh if I found that I'd be all over it! and of course, why)

PS: this isn't just for money it's also for fun I'm not going to sell them ALL off I'm wanting to get a smaller bird so I can learn on it. even though I have the 36, I want something I shouldn't break so I can save a bit, even though that 36 is really cheap to fix. It's kinda hard to fly that 36 indoors, if you know what I mean. I'll need something that'll allow me to keep from getting hypothermia even if I don't get this lot, I'm still getting the esky or the #4. SOOOooo your opinion is greatly appreciated.

PSS: uh, are the two birds clones? or completely different

The only thing I know, and you know it too (you have a #36) the walkera electronic is far to be perfect...
If you can, you should go to esky honey bee CP, 'cause they fly better than FP models.

From what I've read on forum, esky is 99% ready to fly, but the walkera has to be tweak a little more to fly.

Hope it helps in your hard choice

well I have that choice actually, but it's $175 a lot (ESKY E-005 6Ch heli), though it says each one comes with a li-poly batt (8C)... heh I know CP is better, but, usually they don't mix with indoors as in a house.

PS: ranging off the subject a bit, but if you took two, say... 2200mAh 8C li-polys and put them in parrellel, I know the mAh would double, but what about the C rating?

Those lots you are talking about probably come without electronics-Esky is known to have a better radio than Walkera but if they don't have radios then it won't make much difference.Or are you saying EACH heli is $75.00 rather than whole lot.

nope each RTF package is .75 cents. BUT it's wholesale. the less you buy the more you pay. now to ship the whole lot to GA USA it's 9USD a Kilogram then with each package being 2.7Kg it costs $2505.00 USD for the whole lot S/H included. it's an EXCELLENT deal, but not usefull for the average guy. ok that's a lot right? but if you look at it it's only $25.05 a RTF kit! that's cheap then you sell it on ebay (buy it now) for $45.00 and no friggin $80 shipping (probably 14 bucks shipping) and you make a killing. that's almost the same amount that you bought it for in profit. But the parents didn't think it was time to start up a busness, so I'll not be doing this for a while. oh well back to the main question which is more desirable, the ESKY or the #4?

PS: IF you have that kinda money to spend feel free to PM me! I'll give you the link on one term. you sell me a package from the lot for $35.00 with real shipping costs. heh oh and the more on the link. actually it's not the 36, but a lot of 39's which each come with the "free" chinese li-polys and chargers and I think a brushless motor and ESC... IT's also got ESKY's 3D package, with li-poly, and a 100pcs lot of 8C 1025mAh lipoly and 100pcs 8C 1200mAh li-polys. good luck! I feel glad to give the link out under my easy condition, heck you're even making a profit!

PSS: oh the thing is ending in 15 hours, so jump on it if you like what you see.

Well,I checked the link-some deal! Of course $75.00 is the starting bid-likely to go up soon.It could be a scam-send $2500.00 to China, helicopters never come-how do I get my money back?Good luck complaining to Chinese authorities and Ebay can't make them return money.

Hi Thecheatscalc

I have a FP esky E004 and my walkera 36.MY E004 has been agem to learn on.The servos are better quality on the esky.I have to trim it abit and weight up the front to get the CG spot on.But after all that it hovers perfrectly now with no control from me at all just sits there fine.I have a huge room at work to fly it in and it goes geat no worries at all.The worst thing is the skids on the esky are quite weak,if you hit the ground hard they will snap.So mine are strenthened by cut up coat hangers to stiffin them.

I have been very happy with mine has really helped me to fly better.

ok so so far it's a lean towards the ESKY which I completely expected. BUT I still like that dragonfly, ok I found one that has been crashed, and a leg is snapped, as well as the batt charger is lost (I could find a correct one and fix it easy, what voltage does the charger use anyways? 9.6?) for under 50 s/H included, go for it? it's got a couple hours left

I flew a friends honeybee, much better quality than the #4, flew better out of the box too with only minor tweaking. Esky costs more, but they're worth it with the headaches they can save for the newbie.
