gopeder111: I recommend you get a bannana to cigrette lighther addapter from radio shack. I constantly find myself charging batteries while on the road to a flying site. Also, a bannana to alligator clips like the ones provided with the Inellipeak Ice are usefull. I also recommend you get a 12V power converter to use your charger at home. Bear in mind that the intellipeak cannot charge lead acid cells (which a Triton and other chargers can). In my oppinion the great thing about the intellipeak is its ability to measure the internal resistance of the battery packs which is very good to determine the state of health of a battery, particularly lithium batteries. Another great function of the intellipeak is the pulse charge (or reflex) function which is good to maintain the Nickel based batteries, as well as the step charge function. You may not use all the advanced functions availible with the intellipeak ice charger at first, but I have found out that over a relatively shor period of time you will get courioys about other aspects of the hobby and your needs for equipment will grow. With the intellipeak ice you won't spend two times on a charger looking for better functions. You should take a look at the book Batteries in a Portable World. I read it a couple of days ago and find it to be extremly usefull. I wish I had read it before deciding on a particular charger. All in all I, in my opinion the intellipeak is the best bet.
