lol! No this really is a .10 size shrike. I started with a os .32sx in it and it was a hot rod but now its incredible but its heavy.

I'm pretty sure on the 200mph. I have a mustang that we have hit with the radar gun at 157mph and the shrike makes the mustang look like its standing still. We've tried to get it on the gun but we cant pick it up unless i slow it down to about 165. next time i take it out ill get a video and post a link on here. Heres a link to my Mustang

Hello Andrew, RCU is too cool, I had seen your Mustang video several month ago on youtube which convinced me to buy a GP Mustang and to power it similarly (Webra .32 or .36 )... I had asked on the thread which retracts brand you've used but got no answer... Any information to share ?

Back to the Shrike, now I can see the 3 additional Shrike pictures in your gallery, indeed it's a .10 Shrike with this huge powerplant at the front. It looks INSANE !! I would LOVE to see it fly ! Is that black tape on the ailerons ? Anti-flutter technique ? How could you locate a tank inside that tiny fuse with the semi enclosed pipe ? Is the wing reinforced with carbon spars or what ? You've certainly used a shoe-horn to install all the stuff...

Getting past the 200 mph is achieved by only a handful of RCU posters... Hats off, I wouldn't have expected it to be possible with a shrike. With a video, we could make it official thanks to Mike who would chime in for sure (doppler measurement).
All in all,

Hi all. I received a Shrike 40 ARF from a member of my club that had some minor crash damage that he repaired. To complete the work and make it look somewhat presentable does anyone know the colors of the ultracote (oracover) covering used on the Shrike 40 ARF? Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a .10 Shrike still? I have been thinking of getting on, but am having trouble finding them now.

Does anyone have a NIB Shrike 40 kit? If so, I was wondering if maybe you'd be willing to:

1. Trace all the ribs and fuse parts out and make copies.
2. Copy the plans at a blueprint shop.

Send out copies to those willing to pay the copy and mailing costs?

Just picked up a Lanier Shrike .10 kit that DOES NOT have the plans.
I have the parts and the instruction manual, but NO PLANS!!!
Anyone have a set of drawings/plans for the Shrike 10 that I could purchase?
I'd sure appreciate a set.
Thanks
Pete in Land O Lakes, FL

I'll pay copying costs and shipping and if you're in business of making money, I'll pay for your gas and an additional 10% over all costs.
Not sure what that works out to be, but should be in the order of about $10.
Will that work for you?

It costs about $3.50 to copy the plan at Staples. Do it all the time.

Why don't you all send "aircraft suggestion" notifications on Great Planes web site ? They DID buy Lanier's designs and stole them from us... They could reintroduce the kits if there's enough demand !!

Prundel, If you still need the plan let me know. I'm guess i'm more in the habit of helping out fellow flyers than trying to make a buck. Send me your address and I'll send you the plan. Let me know . E me direct.
