Yes it's a 12X6E. I haven't pushed too hard yet so I've only had 7-8 minute flights. Am I at the edge or since I'm usually less than full throttle could I see 12-15 min flights?

mini Ultra Stick maiden flight was just amazing! The dang model was configured with the E-Flite Park 480 Outrunner brushless motor and the recommended Prop size/pitch.

The model zoomed upwards like a home sick dove and in Dead Calm conditions. The model had a floaty manner (low wing loading) and the need for some right aileron and down trim was needed.

It really does not need no stinking flaps....waste of time and $$$ as this model came in dead stick and floated right in on the Club grass field and the tall landing gear and adaquate wheels allowed a good roll-out.

Super Model for those that like the full size and Love to fly a park flyer size with super quiet manners!

Here's proud owner......one of my Club members, all smiles after the maiden flight!

dalelvn,
I have the Eflite 400/920kv outrunner and thought it would be a little small for the MUS, but if that is what you are running I could be wrong. What ia your ready to fly weight? Good to hear of your successful maiden. These seem to be able fliers on a variety of power systems.

My LHS reccomended E-Flite's S75 Servos. Do you see any problems?

I want to make sure I get everything I need. Here's my list, correct me if I missed anything. Also see the ???? if I don't know what to get.

I have a Futaba 9CHP I wll be using for the transmitter.

Receiver ???? - Not sure what to get. Stick with a 4 ch?
Servos - 4 E-Flite S75's
ESC - ???? - Not sure what to get.
Y Harness (do I need any extensions?)
Motor - E-Flite 450 outrunner
LiPo - ???? Not sure what to get
Charger - I have a Dynamite NiCAD/NiMh/Lipo charger.

Help an old Gas-Flyer out here. This is my first electric - except for my Heli's

Has anyone checked to see if replacement parts are available if needed?

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS
HITEC HS55 SERVOS
6CHANNEL RECEIVER WITH AILERONS ON CH1 AND CH6 NO Y HARNESS
20 TO 25AMP SPEED CONTROL
450 EFLITE WITH 10X7 SF PROP
11.1 LIPO 2000M

rchunter1:
I'm considering a similar set-up. I'm thinking about a Hitec Electron 6 receiver or the new mini 6s. Are these too heavy? The Electron 6 is 13g w/o crystal, 17 with. Horizon's recommended JR receiver is about 7 grams, I think. So with a 6 channel receiver no Y-harness is needed? What's the advantage? Thansk.

Hey Gforeman,

Get teh E-flite 20 amp brushless speed control (EFLA311B) and a Thunder power 1320 Pro-Lite (THP13203SPL) for the battery. It shaves a couple ounces off the weight of the 2100's and flies just as long.

Enjoy it.
