I also love my firefox. And all the add ins that are available just makes it that much better. Granted there are some sites that dont support firefox well so of course thats when IE comes into play.

Firefox Always!!!

Been 100% virus free for well over a year now.
Won't compromise the Windows shell
and the worse that can happen 75%
of the time is that you would have to re-install Firefox.

With IE, Zone Alarm and AVG anti-virus I'd pick up a hard to find
trojan just about weekly.

I decided to go Firefox full time. I'm very grateful for this browser
and just wish it were around sooner. I have tried the
regular Mozilla and it is OK but, prefered IE over it, only to my
own demise and subsequent re-formatting of the old 'puter.

Best open-source browser to date!!! Now if only we could
install that RCU toolbar (the only one I'd EVER install BTW)
it would be perfect!

I love Firefox and I probably will never go back to IE unless Microshaft implements wholesale improvements. Firefox is a ton more powerful and useful especially with some of the add-on extensions. Take a look at the following FF extensions if you haven't already tried them: Session Saver, Forecastfox, Image Zoom, and undoclosetab. These are just four of my favorites, however, there are alot more where they came from. I have added a total of 32 extensions in customizing my installation.

On another note, the IE Tab extension allows you to run IE sessions within Firefox windows and tabs. So, you really don't ever need to run IE outside of Firefox even for web sites that are IE specific.

Websites that are IE specific are becomming less and less common. Most all banks and stockbrokers are now finally supporting Gecko based browsers, such as Firefox, which wasn't the case a year or so ago since they all had adopted Microshaft's proprietary internet security stuff. That was a big mistake by the way as has been well documented by the numerous interenet banking security breaches that relied on that technology. I guess they learned their lesson......

I admit that I am a bit biased since I have been a Firefox user since the FF 0.3 days and involved with the Mozilla foundation ever since it was spun off from AOL. Nevertheless, Firefox really will change the way that you browse the web and make you more productive. Its an amazing product!

FYI,

Gordon

Safari works great so far. I've switched to Mac and the only drawback is I can't use my simulator on it...

I like Opera, it blocks popups and I really like the fact that you can have commands for forward and back in the browser setup up on the right mouse button.

Good opinions and reasons for your browser guys, I added in a few more web browsers as well, IE 7 is pretty cool, but I still use firefox 90% of the time.

IE7

I like FF and had a go with Opera (it was ok), but I have pop-up blockers and other things in my AntiVirus and my pc is only 6 months old and doesn't have much vital stuff on it. IE7 is comfortable to use and the theme changes colours depending on which theme I'm running on the rest of the system (patched uxtheme), but FF is useful for me too.
