Here are some pictures of my new Matrix. I ran the thing for the last few days and I love the car! No issues and the engine ran surprisingly strong for an RTR engine. I would like to say that when I first check online about CEN Racing a ready many bad reviews on there products. I hesitantly got my first CEN which was a Genesis LE and I am so happy I went with that truck. Now this is my second CEN and I have nothing but good things to say about there products. The one bad thing about buying my second CEN is now I have an extra Airtonics MX3 radio on my hands, which is the best thing any company could include with an RTR car.

Here are a few things that I was pleasently surprised to find once I had the car in my hands.

- Plastic hinge pin bushings on the front and rear suspension arms. These will be cheap to replace when they wear out, much better them replacing the entire suspension arm.

- Alum. chassis stiffeners!!!!! Thats not normal for an RTR

- The aluminum shocks were surprisingly smooth out of the box. They did of course come with the rubber boots to keep them clean.

- Both the throttle and the steering servos had all metal gears!!! I was very surprised to find that; normally if there is a metal geared servo they only use one for the steering.

- Large radio box, I didnt really understand why they used such a large box when the car comes with a fairly small receiver. I guess its for those people that have unusually large receives or batteries.

- The tires that came with my car were not the best type for my track or any track that I know. They did work great as break-in tires on the street. One thing I noticed is the wheels are slightly wider then my proline wheels. This gains my curiosity since now I want to try there wheels with good tires. A wider wheel might just work really well on my track!

I will keep everyone updated as I get more time with the car. So far its much more then I had hoped for!

Congratulations sir, you are the first Matrix owner to post any feedback on the forum. I hear what you are saying about the bad reputation the brand has. Thing is though, if you press the people who are saying the negative stuff for more information, 90% have never even seen a CEN let alone owned one.
This may be a pretty cool thread to post race results and technical tips in, aswell as any pictures of your buggies.

I took it out ot local club race last weekend. Found a Novarossi .21 in the house and hit the track. Car handles very well without any modification/setup done yet. Simply dominating and impressive. I read on RC Car magazine that 04 Roar winner Jason is joining CEN. I definitely think this car will have a chance to win big in the 06.

rc30gtr, just picked one up last night. if the weather cooperates it will be on the track this weekend. ill
let the kyoshos sit for a while. im gonna run it like it is, want to get an idea how competitive it is out
of the box. it looked good in the pictures, looks even better in my hand. im still kinda partial to my
kyosho but if it runs as good as it looks it should be awesome. ill let ya know what i think.

The ARR is a Almost ready to run version of the standard Matrix. THe chassis is complete except the radio equipment/engine/tire. Clear body is included. Street price will be around $290. This is perfect for anyone wants a high performance buggy but already have the engine/radio system.

The Pro-Kit is a completely unassemble kit, including many of the carbon finber, CNC option parts. NO engine, radio, wheel/tire, ..etc are included.
