I have a PBF with a T.T. 36 PRO with a stock muffler and it is very over powered. I think a 28" square PBF wouldn't be that much heavier and would have a lighter wing loading so it should handle even better at slow speeds. I was thinking of building such a PBF but putting a mouse can muffler on the T.T.Pro 36 for a little more power. What do you think about this plan?

It depends on your version of "better".

From what we've experienced locally, the larger the PBF, the more rock steady it becomes in slow hovering flight. But you sacrifice maneuverability.

If "better" refers to slow and lazy flying, then you will like the larger PBF even more.

But if you value the lightning quick maneuvering response of a 24x24 PBF, then you are going to be seriously disappointed in a larger version. Around here, the 36x36 and the 42x42 PBFs are referred to as "Targets".
